Rockfield Technologies Australia understands that our Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) performance directly impacts our ability to provide quality engineering outcomes for our clients. We are bound by the requirements of the Engineers Australia Code of Conduct and we will inherently comply with all applicable legislative requirements, codes of practice and standards.

Our objective is to prevent occupational illness, disease and injury through the application of hazard identification and risk management principles, combined with technically correct engineering outputs.

Our procedures and behaviour will represent the best practice in safety to ensure we meet our own expectations and those of our clients and the community. Our engineering consultants play a pivotal role in the projects we undertake, with a goal of consistent application of safe working practices in all the work we conduct.

Our focus will be on the way we identify and manage hazards on consulting projects and in the workplace. This also extends to the designs we analyse and develop, and all on-site and laboratory work for experimentation, measurement, testing, inspection and engineering evaluations. Our WH&S governance will also extend to co-workers and clients working alongside us on projects, to ensure a ?duty of care? is provided to all involved.

The quality of our WH&S performance is important, to ensure that our limited resources are effectively employed and our reputation is maintained within the industry. We will achieve sustainable improvement in our WH&S performance through an embedded WH&S culture, together with a continual improvement focus applied through our preparedness, procedural compliance and learned experience. To assist in driving our WH&S systems and performance we have established a Safety Committee to monitor and report on health and safety performance, identify areas for growth and improvement, and ensure currency in all WH&S matters.

Our commitment to provide a safe and healthy workplace will ensure that all measures have been taken to mitigate risk. Rockfield will maintain the ability to tackle all engineering projects with a developed health and safety focus to ensure the longevity of all involved in attainment of the project outcomes.
