Our engineers' efficient drafting skills combined with high technology CAD software complement Rockfield's design and predictive engineering services. This allows for technology interfacing and cost effective design development of components, machines, structures and potential modifications. Efficient 3D virtual prototyping also provides suitable images and technical drawings to support applications for grants, patents and product marketing requirements. 

RTA's CAD modelling outputs also complement our design and predictive engineering services through 3D motion studies, structural mass analysis, centre of gravity determination and component interactions. All 3D models complement Rockfield's proprietary FEA/DEM software to allow timely analysis of stress where the full range of operational loads are applied and the resultant stress and deflection results are obtained.  

Rockfield provides accurate 2D manufacture drawings and electronic files (.dxf) suitable for material preparation, laser cutting; weld preparation and the full range of fabrication requirements.
